Eday to host Archaeology Month lecture

As part of Scottish Archaeology Month, Dr Alison Sheridan, the head of early prehistory at the National Museums Scotland, will be giving a public lecture in Eday on Saturday.

The lecture, entitled Up and Down and Round and Round: The dynamics of Late Neolithic Society in Orkney and farther afield begins at 7.30pm on Saturday, September 24, in the Eday Heritage Centre.

On Friday, September 23, at 4.30pm, Dr Sheridan will be giving a lecture entitled Green Treasures from the Magic Mountains: Project JADE in the lecture theatre at Orkney College.
