Death of COVID-19 Orkney patient recorded in official figures

An Orkney patient has died from COVID-19, according to official figures.

The death, reported by Public Heath Scotland, occurred on Wednesday.

It brings the total number of deaths in Orkney associated with the virus to three.

It marks the first death in the county relating to the virus since April 2020, ten months ago.
