Brough Cup to be decided in final night showdown

Tonight will see the Orkney Cheese ‘A’ League title be decided in a thrilling final night showdown.

Rovers and Hotspurs are locked on 30 points at the summit of Orkney’s premier domestic football league and will face each other tonight at the Bignold at 6.30pm in the final round of fixtures.

In the event of a draw, Hotspurs would be crowned champions on the account of their better head-to-head record, having beaten their Kirkwall rivals earlier in the season.

Rovers’ last ‘A’ League title came four years ago while Hotspurs would end a 12-year wait if they were crowned champions.
