Broadband restored in Westray

Broadband has been restored in Westray after a damaged subsea cable interrupted service, shortly before Christmas.

Openreach has now confirmed that the cable ship which was sent to Orkney to repair the damage has now completed its work.

The company apologised for the loss of service and thanked customers in Westray for their patience.
