Bignold Park development complete

Work to install a new access road at Bignold Park in Kirkwall has been completed. Despite the dreich January weather, cyclists and walkers are already enjoying the benefits of the newly completed roadway through Bignold Park in Kirkwall.

The thoroughfare, which was fully funded by Orkney Islands Council (OIC) and project managed by Orkney Agricultural Society, was completed in less than three weeks and ahead of schedule, thanks to the efforts of the contractor, Eoin Muir Plant Hire, despite the wet weather conditions throughout much of November.
