Application for new Stromness care home goes to planning committee

The application for the new St Peter’s House care home, in Stromness, is to be viewed by Orkney Islands Council’s planning committee tomorrow, Wednesday.

The proposed 40-bed home, at Garson, has received one objection, from a nearby resident, on the grounds of design, layout of site, no access through the site, parking, landscaping, prejudicing future developments in the area and that the development is not in accordance with planning policy and guidance for the area.
