Stromness Lifeboat involved in Hoy Sound search

Stromness lifeboat is currently searching for the source of an active emergency beacon in Hoy Sound. The lifeboat was requested to launch, after the beacon was detected, just before 3.30pm this afternoon. A coastguard helicopter has also since joined the search.
