2012 Shopping Week Queen and attendants

Birsay teenager Alanna Swanney has been chosen as this year’s Stromness Shopping Week Queen.

Alanna, 17, is pictured here in the centre, flanked by her Shopping Week attendants, fellow Stromness Academy pupils, Annabella Penny, 17, from Harray, and 17-year-old Katrina Bevan, from Stenness.

The 2012 Stromness Shopping Week is set to run from July 15 to July 21.
