Young Farmers to take on charity tractor pull

A group of Young Farmers from Orkney are to take on the challenge of pulling a tractor from Stromness to Kirkwall tomorrow, Saturday, to raise money for their club and for two charities

The Young Farmers, from Orkney District Association of Young Farmers Clubs (ODAYFC), will attempt to pull a Fordson Dexta tractor between the two towns, leaving Stromness pier at 9am.

Through the challenge, the young farmers are hoping to raise money for rural charity RSABI and the Orkney Blide Trust. A fundraising page has been set up here.
