Stromness road closures

There are road closures all day today, between Church Road and Hellihole in Stromness.

Repairs, affecting Victoria Street, Graham Place and Dundas Street, are being undertaken to enable maintenance on the street in advance of Shopping Week, which begins this Sunday.

Work began at 8am this morning and may go on past 5pm, in an effort finish the work in one day.

Motorists are urged to avoid these roads. Diversions will be in place via the Back Road.
