Six sides set to get Parish Cup campaigns underway

Deerness are making a welcome return to the Parish Cup this year. Here is the 2011 side that lost out to Birsay 6-5 over two legs.

Six teams are set to get their Parish Cup campaigns underway tomorrow, including defending champions Stromness.

Three ties are scheduled to go ahead on Sunday, in a feast of Parish Cup action.

Stromness will start the day’s first match as heavy favourites at home to Deerness, who are set to make their first appearance in the competition for a few years. That match is set to kick-off at 1pm.

Following on, Birsay take on St Andrews at 3pm, before an all-West Mainland clash at 7pm sees Stenness host Firth in Harray.
