Roadworks in Stromness

Orkney Islands Council has advised that there will be road closures in Stromness, next week, to enable road repairs to be carried out:

John Street will be closed  to vehicles on Monday, August 14, while Victoria Street (from Church Road to Graham Place), Graham Place, and Dundas Street will all be closed next Tuesday and Wednesday, from 8am until late afternoon.

OIC sat this is to allow essential work to be carried out in safety. The street will remain open to pedestrians. They would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
