Police appeal after Dounby Show theft

Police in Kirkwall are appealing for witnesses after the theft of a 15-year-old boy’s wallet from his rucksack, which was left unattended at the Dounby Show.

Police say the rucksack was left for approximately five minutes, at the entrance to the Crazy House ride, at around 11.40am on Thursday, August 10. The wallet contained a number of sentimental items and £60.

Police are looking for any information regarding the theft and are appealing for its return. If you have any information, you can call Crimestoppers on 101, or anonymously on 0800 555 111.
