The Orkney Childcare Partnership is an advisory group which contributes
to the planning and financial support of children's services in
the community.
Its purpose is to support parents and families through access to good quality childcare and early education, and by offering Triple P (Positive Parenting Programme) courses throughout Orkney.
Membership of the Partnership consists of representatives of all
the main providers of services for children.
The remit for the Childcare Partnership is in line with the new Scottish Government Early Years Framework, and includes the age range of children 0-14, toddler groups, early years training, childminders and opportunities for children with additional needs.
