On the award shortlist . . .

The Orcadian is on the shortlist for Newspaper of the Year in the 2016 Highlands and Islands Media Awards.

Also in the running are The Shetland Times and the Strathspey and Badenoch Herald.

The winner will be announced at the annual awards ceremony, in Inverness, on February 3.
