New writing club launching in Shapinsay

The first meeting of a brand new writing club in Shapinsay is to take place this Saturday, July 1.

The club has been set up by island resident, Kate Fereday Eshete to help people improve their writing, whether they are writing fiction or non-fiction, for online or print.

A series of events will be held in Shapinsay on July 1, to mark the first meeting of the club, kicking off with an official opening at The Boathouse at 10.15am.
