Men’s Ba’ hit the water within 15 minutes

The Doonies have taken victory in the 2016 Christmas Men’s Ba’.

During what may be one of the shortest games on record, a break within minutes of the game starting at 1pm, saw Steven MacPhail and Fergus Macivor take the ba’ straight to the Kirkwall Basin, reaching the goal just before 1.15pm.

After another ten minutes the ba’ itself went to 52-year-old Doonie George Rendall.
