Medication lost in Kirkwall

Police have advised that a package containing prescription medication was lost somewhere between Victoria Street and the Glaitness area of Kirkwall some time on Wednesday afternoon.

Anyone finding this package is asked to take it immediately to the police station or to a chemists for disposal.

A spokesman said: “The consumption of any medication without it first having been prescribed by a medical professional is both irresponsible and potentially very dangerous.”
