Longhope Lifeboat launched

RNLI Longhope has been called out to a trapped fishing vessel this afternoon.

According to HM Coastguard, the lifeboat was launched at around 1pm to aid a fishing boat which has become entangled in ropes.

Divers are currently working to free the vessel’s propeller from the ropes so that it can be towed back to shore.
