Orkney's
first purpose-built ro-ro ferrySt Ola (III) which entered service
on January 29, 1975, and operated on the Pentland Firth route
until 1992.

The
former Finnish ferry Eckeroe which became the last St Ola to sail
in P&O colours, passes the Kame of Hoy. She made her final journey
on Monday afternoon.
