In conjunction with the launch of the Orkney Boat Museum Project, a 'friends' group was formed to help support the endeavour.

With Big Brother 2004 winner Cameron Stout as patron, the Friends of the Orkney Boat Museum will help progress the creation of the new museum, which will incorporate the renovated Hall of Clestrain.

Membership of the Friends will cost £10 pa (£15 for a family) and give free entry to the museum when it is completed.

All fund raising ideas will also be gratefully received.
