Photographic LogoThe Orcadian is running a major photography competition to coincide with our 150th anniversary.

In conjunction with sponsors W. H. B Sutherland and Focus on Orkney, our photographic competition will run for the next six months. We are inviting entries from young and old, from happy snappers to experts behind the lens.

The competition subject is simply Orkney 2004.

We want to compile a snapshot of life in the county during this, The Orcadian’s 150th anniversary. There will be monthly prizes between now and the end of August for the top three photographs in two sections: 18 and under and over 18.

Digital images can be entered by e-mail to: competitions@orcadian.co.uk or by high quality print.
