Listen live to this week’s council meetings

The next live broadcasts of Orkney Islands Council meetings are set to take place tomorrow, Tuesday.

An audio feed from the council chamber will be provided from tomorrow’s general meeting of the full council, which gets under way at 10.30am.

It will be followed by a special meeting of the development and infrastructure committee, which will consider proposals for improvements to the Broad Street area of Kirkwall and starts at 2.15pm.

A special general meeting of the full council on Thursday, July 9, which will consider the committee’s recommendations on the Broad Street proposals, will also be broadcast live. It begins at 9.30am.
