Sanday runner begins six-day race in Hungary

Sanday-based ultra-distance runner William Sichel has started the World Six Day Trophy in Balatonfured, Western Hungary as he attempts to regain a title he won in 2011.

The race started at noon today and ends at midday on Tuesday, May 12.

William, who also finished fifth in 2013, is up against a huge field of over 80 athletes from around the world with 22 nations represented.
