Former Mama’s Boys guitar legend in Stromness

Former Mama’s Boys and Celtus guitar/violin legend, Pat McManus will make his debut appearance in Orkney tonight.
Blues/rockers, the Pat McManus Band will be right at home, performing at the heart of the county’s Blues Festival, in the Stromness Hotel.
In an interview with The Orcadian last month, Pat, who hails from Fermanagh in Northern Ireland, promised a healthy helping of “heavy blues, with a spatter of Irish traditional music.”
The three-piece band tour regularly, in Britain and Europe. After their Orkney appearance, they hope to hit the studio to record their fifth album.
