MS research project talks

Emily Weiss, a PhD student supported by the Shetland and Orkney MS Research Project, is to give two talks in Orkney this week.

Orkney and Shetland have the highest prevalence of MS in the world, and research is ongoing as part of the Shetland and Orkney Multiple Sclerosis Research Project, which was set up to support research to try to understand why Orkney and Shetland have such high MS figures.

Emily is due to give a talk at the St Magnus Centre on Tuesday, April 28, and again at the Kalisgarth Centre, Westray, the following day.

Folk going along to the talks will have the opportunity to hear an update on progress with the research project at Edinburgh University.
