North Hoy refuse collection request

Orkney Islands Council is asking people in North Hoy to have their refuse out for collection by 8am this Thursday, October 2.

This is to enable refuse to be collected before the road between North Hoy and Lyness is closed for repairs and strengthening work.

Road closures on the B9047 are taking place between 9.30am and 4.30pm from Monday to Friday this week.
