With just three weeks of this season remaining, Kirkwall will once again be busy this weekend with five liners calling between today, Friday, and Sunday.

Street closures will be in effect today whilst the Ruby Princess is berthed alongside at Hatston and the Thomson Spirit will be anchored in Kirkwall Bay.

Sunday sees the arrival at Hatston of the Rotterdam and Saga Sapphire, with the Black Watch arriving late Sunday afternoon for tours on Monday.

It is expected that 65,000 passengers and 20,000 crew will have visited Orkney during the 2014 cruise ship season.
