Rovers aiming to secure league title

Football club Kirkwall Rovers can retain the Orkney Cheese ‘A’ League title this evening, if they avoid defeat to St Andrews.

Rovers, who are chasing their fourth consecutive league crown, currently sit three points clear of second-placed Rendall with two matches to go, but the West Mainland side have played one game more.

This evening’s match, due to be played at St Andrews, is set to kick-off at 7pm.
