The best animal in the showyard prize at this year’s Sanday Show has gone to M & A Lennie’s two-crop Suffolk ewe ‘Killer Queen’ for the third consecutive year.

Today’s show also saw Malcolm and Angela Lennie, of Seaview farm, take the top and reserve cattle prizes.

The reserve champion of the showyard title went to Fraser Sinclair’s  four-year-old Connemara cross cob pony.

Malcolm Lennie said he was delighted to pick up the top prize and said that he thought the competition at this year’s show was stronger than it had been for a few years.

For a full cattle, sheep, horse, poultry and dog section results from the Sanday show see next week’s edition of The Orcadian.
