Orkney votes verified and count begins

All the ballot papers for Orkney have now been now been verified and the count is officially underway. So far, everything seems to be running smoothly. The boxes from Shetland are expected to arrive, under escort, at Kirkwall Airport at around 2am, and be at Kirkwall Grammar School by 2.30am.
