Police name missing diver

The scallop diver still missing off Eday has been named as 33-year-old Roderick Norman MacLean, from Finstown.

According to Northern Constabulary, further sea searches continued on Friday, focusing on the waters to the east of Eday and involving the Kirkwall Lifeboat and Coastguard rescue helicopter.

Police inquiries have also been continuing into the disappearance of Mr MacLean and specialist police search units from Northern Constabulary and Grampian Police were due to continue their search for him this weekend.
