Alleged incident in Westray

Police officers from Kirkwall travelled out to Westray on Tuesday, following the report of an alleged incident at Pierowall the previous evening.

As a result of inquiries, a 21-year-old man is due to appear in court, at a later date, in connection with the alleged incident.
